Cuba isn’t a destination that is typically on the list of “must visit” spots for Americans. However, I have always dreamed of being able to go to Cuba someday.

Just a few of the reasons that I’m really drawn to the idea of a cuban vacation are:

• How different it is from the United States. Cuba appears to be highly different from what I’m used to in terms of culture, politics, religion and daily life. I would love to experience a place that wasn’t the same as what I always see.
• Affordability. Frankly it’s fairly cheap to get a vacation package to cuba. There are all inclusive vacations to cuba that cost considerably less than any of the other vacation packages that I’ve looked into for more common travel destinations.
• The fact that it’s a little bit taboo. It’s true. Part of the reason that I’m drawn to visiting cuba is because it’s not something that a lot of Americans do. I like to do things that people aren’t doing. I like to walk on the adventurous side of life.

There are other reasons that I want to go to Cuba - things I’ve heard and books I’ve read - but these are the main reasons that I regularly think about trying to visit the country.
