Outfitting a Growing Child
Posted by Rich on 07/22/08 in Shopping
Kids grow too fast. As the seasons change, another wardrobe is required leaving the former seasons clothes to hang in the closet for another year. By the time the clothes are ready to be worn again, your child has outgrown them. This dilemma plagues parents because clothes are expensive and keeping up with the latest clothing trends attack your pocketbook. Outfitting a growing child and keeping that child dressed to impress his or her friends could break a family.
Not only do we as parents have to keep them in clothes that fit them, we have to keep them outfitted in coats, hats, shoes, pajamas, underwear….the list never seems to end. As the seasons change, the needs of the children change. In summer, we have to purchase new bathing suits, shorts and t-shirts. In fall and spring, they need light weight jackets. By winter, you’re asking yourself, do the childrens ski clothes still fit? Kids snowboard jacket is a necessary item for their skiing lessons.
As the family makes plans for the year, items that are often used infrequently pop up and need replacing. In winter, the childrens ski clothing needs updating. In the summer, it’s a new bathing suit and swim shirt for vacation. It can get expensive to cloth a child but the parents have a light at the end of the tunnel. Eventually their children get jobs and get to buy some of the most coveted items themselves.
