I really don’t know if it is just a sign of the recession or what, but it sure does seem that all of a sudden there is a lot more land for sale in Washington. Maybe all of this land for sale was actually for sale all along and I just didn’t notice it. But I really don’t think that is the case because I’m a fairly observant person. And I’m not even sure if this is the best state to buy land in or not. I mean, if there is that much for sale, could something be wrong?

And what is with all of the houses for sale? I know those numbers are up because where I live the only person with real job security right now id the guy who puts the sign posts in peoples yards. It’s like a farmer planted for sale signs in my neighborhood, and he’s having a bumper crop this season!

Speaking of job security, I know several people who have been laid off. So here’s the funny part. About a year ago I was saying that we were in a recession. But the new folks all said that we were not in a recession. Now all of a sudden the government says we are in a recession. I called it all along, and I’m not even an economist!
