Through junior high school, I didn’t really take very good care of my teeth. I think it might be that my teeth are just more sensitive than most peoples or something. I don’t like brushing them at all in fact. And let’s not even discuss flossing. I bleed all over the place when I floss. In fact, I bleed a lot when I brush.

My dad made me get braces in junior high, and I hated that. It was bad enough that they look stupid, but they also really hurt. If you have had braces you know what I mean. Plus, I was supposed to brush several times a day. Did I mention that I don’t like to brush my teeth? Anyway, the orthodontist took the braces off before they were done because I refused to brush. My dad was hot about that one.

Well now that I’m in high school, my outlook has changed. I totally discovered boys. And now I want to have good teeth, but my dad won’t pay for a smile makeover. I keep telling him that I need some serious tooth whitening, and I know he agrees. He is just still mad about the whole braces thing. I have to figure out some way to get some dental whitening done though.
