I’m so glad it’s the weekend, because I have so much I need to do.  It’s so hard to get things done during the week sometimes, because my husband and I share a car and he needs it during the week to go back and forth from work.  If I get up in the morning I can drive him and keep the car, but since I work from home and don’t have to get up that early it’s sometimes difficult to do!

Anyway, top of my list is getting out to the barn — both days, if possible — to ride my horse.  We’ve had a lot of rain lately, which has curtailed my visits a little bit.  Then this evening, after I’d already made other plans, the rain cleared up and I felt guilty every time I saw how gorgeous and sunny it was.

The other thing I really need to do is finish shopping for my bridesmaid outfit for my friend’s wedding in August.  I have to pick up my dress, which came in a while ago, and I need to find shoes to go with it.  A few months ago my friend found her dress, veil, and wedding tiara, so that’s all done — I just need to find my dress.

I also need to decide whether I’m going to have her hair stylist do my hair for the wedding, and if so, how I’ll have her do it.  I probably ought to have her do a practice run, but I definitely won’t have time this weekend, so perhaps next weekend!

It’s a pity weekends are only two days long.  It seems I always have way more than two days’ worth of stuff to do by the time Friday evening rolls around!
