I think it might actually be time to buy my own vans.  It’s a shocking concept, I know.  Up until now I’ve been using my sister’s van for most gigs, and then when we have a really large catering order I’ll use an easy rent a car service or any cheap Florida car rentals.  I’ve used a Miami car rental once that was pretty good.  Anyway, it’s a manageable amount of cost, but I think I can just swing it now if I can find some cheap vans and some good financing. 

It will be amazing to custom fit them for catering and not have to stick something in the back with a limb on everything so that nothing shifts too drastically.  It’s been a really hard year for us (I know that it’s been a really hard year for everyone, especially with the recession), so I’m inordinately pleased that business has been going well enough for us that I can at least point to this one marginal demonstration of growth, something that will hopefully give us another marginal growth for next year as well.  I love this business and I love my clientele, and I will be so thankful if I can just make it through this and keep doing what I love to do.
