My friends are calling me crazy, but I think that I am onto something here. I recognize that the San Diego real estate market has kind of bottomed out. To me, that indicates that things can only get better. And as things get better, houses are going to start selling again. And that means that they will need more real estate agents.

And that is why I just started real estate school. You have to have a license to sell San Diego real estate. And in order to get a real estate license, the first step is to attend a real estate school.

And if you are smart like I am, you will get sponsored by one of the local real estate firms. You just promise to hang your license with them once you complete all of the requirements, and then they will pay for the school!

So far it has been pretty interesting too. I don’t know how often that I’ll need to know how many square feet are in an acre, but at least I will know. And I had no idea that when some of the major roadways all do that little curve thing for no apparent reason it is actually a way that the government adjusts for the earth being round. I do know this though: when the market comes back, I am going to be ready to take advantage of it.
