Being so close to finishing up my masters degree program is more exciting than I think I might be able to convey to you. I have been working so very long on getting this thing done that I can hardly believe it is just around the corner. A masters in business is not as easy as many try to make it out to be.

Currently, I am working on courses to finish my mortgage education, and that will give me the required knowledge to get certifications I’ll need in order to get licensed to go right to work after graduation.

Once I am place in a firm, I know I’ll also have to sit for my Safe mortgage licensing examination, however, between what I already know, and the mortgage classes, I sincerely doubt I’ll have a problem with that class.

If my plans hold out, I should be able to work in the industry for just a few short years and then with any luck, I’ll have all the experience and knowledge needed to step out on my own.

And having a small, local mortgage company has been a dream of mine ever since I attended my first escrow closing where my parents bought their dream home. I can hardly wait!
