We will share information and discussions on various MasterMind groups and Best Practices.
A MasterMind group consists of participation among members by brainstorming new possibilities. The group’s members help and support each other with honest feedback and playing the devil’s advocate. Best Practices assert the best techniques, methods, and procedures for accomplishing tasks.

There is a term that you’re going to start hearing a lot more often. The term is “mobile aggregator”. The reason that you’re going to start hearing it more in the near future is because of the growing popularity of mobile banking. A mobile aggregator is a necessary part of the cell phone banking transaction.
What is a mobile aggregator? A mobile aggregator is:
- A mobile telecommunications company that operates independently from mobile phone operators.
- An intermediary between a mobile phone operator and another company which needs to use SMS shortcode.
- A business that handles the financial transaction related to the payments for exchanging such messages between the two parties.
Put simply, a mobile aggregator is a middle-man business that helps makes SMS billing and payments occur.
You may not be familiar with a lot of these businesses today although they do already exist. However, with the mobile web growing and mobile banking on the rise, it is likely that this is a term that you will become quite familiar with in the next few years. Now you know what it’s all about. You’ll be in the loop when mobile aggregators start popping up in conversations all around you.

Growing up, I had a lot of concerns that I would never own anything. My parents were (and still are) poor and though they worked hard, it was apparent that they would always be poor. You know, there are just some people you can tell will never make it very far and they were definitely some of those.
Despite my living conditions as a child, I still had dreams and aspirations of someday owning my own home. Though the world seemed stacked against me, I knew that if I really wanted, I could certainly achieve it.
Little did I know that my career choice would ultimately give me that which I always wanted: my own home. You see, I worked a number of summers for a company that specialized in Tampa realty and I was their gopher. Though maybe not the most glamorous job, it did give me an inside view of the real estate industry and I would say that is where most of my education began.
But it didn’t stop there. I would later become a realtor and apply that same knowledge I learned. I have done okay so far and I have enough money saved to buy my own little slice of paradise: my own home. Not only does it feel wonderful, but I feel great knowing that I have succeeded where people thought I would fail. I guess you could say that has made me appreciate my success even more.

Sometimes, the Network Neutrality debate makes me feel like a grumpy old policy wonk. Well, I suppose I am a grumpy old policy wonk, but its rather unfair of the folks in the NN debate to make me feel that way — especially when they know better.
The most recent reminder of my age and wisdom/oncoming decrepitude is the rather silly argument that we are somehow “rushing” into network neutrality — because nearly ten years of study and debate cannot possibly be enough to justify this being the first major policy initiative for the Genachowski FCC.
Yes, it was 9 years ago last month when the FCC launched its first inquiry asking how to classify “high speed access to the Internet over cable and other facilities.

There are a lot of things that I love about the neighborhood where I live. I love the little cafe around the corner from me. I love the proximity to public transportation. I love the architecture of the homes that surround me. But mostly I love how many things there are that I can learn without leaving my neighborhood.
For example, I can learn how to play shuffleboard. There is a little park just one block away from me which has shuffleboard courts. I recently found out that there is a shuffle board instructor who volunteers his time there once a week to teach people how to play the game.
I can also learn how to do a number of different artistic techniques. That’s because there’s an art school around the corner from me that offers community classes. I can learn drawing, painting, sculpting, jewelry making and a few other things. The classes are a little pricey but they’re so close to my house that it’s worth it.
And of course I can learn a whole world of things by going to my local library. The library near me is less than two blocks away and it’s open six days a week. If there’s something I want to learn then that’s a great place to start! What can you learn in your neighborhood?
